just install BUM and start it s a root user. Then un check the service you want (I disabled Apache2, PostGreSQL daemon, MySQL, virtual box et al) and it will be a bit faster. You can enable it back anytime if you do not delete!
to install boot up manager
open terminaland
sudo apt-get install bum
